Staying at Cedar Pass Lodge was a wonderful experience overall. I loved the cozy charm of the cabins and the stunning views of the Badlands right from my porch. While the shower was a bit small, the comfortable beds and cleanliness of the cabin made up for it. I also appreciated the friendly service, especially when I needed a little extra coffee in the mornings.

Cedar Pass Lodge is a solid choice if you're looking to stay right in the Badlands National Park. The cabin I stayed in was super clean and offered stunning views that really made the experience worthwhile. However, the shower situation was a bit dicey, with barely any hot water and low pressure. The dining options were pretty basic, and while the gift shop had some nice items, the front desk staff could've been a bit friendlier.

Overall, I found the service adequate but could've used a bit more warmth, especially from the check-in staff who seemed less engaged.

You can't beat the location; it's right in the national park, and I could easily access hiking trails and enjoy the very nice starry skies at night.

The restaurant food was alright but nothing to write home about. I had some Indian tacos that were lukewarm, and I wish there had been a few more tasty breakfast choices, too.

The cabin facilities were decent with good bathroom amenities, although the lighting was really poor, making it tough to do anything after dark.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location within the park is fantastic, making it easy to explore the trails and enjoy the stunning views. but there were a couple of hiccups with the check-in process. The cabin was clean and well-equipped, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. However, the dining option had limited hours, which could be frustrating for late arrivals.

While the staff were friendly when we interacted, the check-in process was quite chaotic for late arrivals. I had to figure out the entry system myself, which felt a bit unprofessional.

My stay at Cedar Pass Lodge was a mixed bag. While the location within Badlands National Park offered stunning views and easy access to nature, I encountered a few issues that put a damper on my experience. The cabin was clean and had a cozy log cabin feel, but the door was a real struggle to open. Plus, the dining options left a lot to be desired; the limited menu and service could definitely use some improvement.

The cabin was clean and had a charming rustic style, featuring both a front and back porch with beautiful views. However, it was frustrating to deal with the tricky door lock, which required an odd technique to open.
Service

While the staff were friendly and willing to help, the overall service could improve, especially considering the dining experience, where options were quite limited and not very filling.

The location is amazing, right in the park with easy access to trails and overlooks. I loved enjoying the picturesque sunrises and wildlife watching, which was a highlight of the trip.

The dining experience was a letdown, as the menu was sparse and left me wanting more. Breakfast was slightly better, but overall, I left feeling hungry after meals.
Facilities

The cabin amenities like the microwave and refrigerator were handy, but there were little things like the lack of comfort in the chairs on the porch and some quirks in the bathroom design that made my stay less enjoyable.

Staying in the Cedar Pass cabins was a fantastic decision for my anniversary trip! The stunning views of the Badlands were just amazing. The cabin itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the rustic charm made it feel special. I did experience a bit of a wait for Wi-Fi in the evenings when a lot of people logged in, but overall, it was an amazing stay.
